| Note | Here we have a lovely FRESH example of the true marginata marginata form. A soft pink dorsum is lightly covered with very pale brown spotting and surrounded by a darker pink/orange margin. This shell also has the convex base which is found in most shells from the Rottnest Island population. Photos don't do this shell justice and you will not be disappointed. F+++/Gem- Grade with a couple of very, very minor growth irregularities on the dorsum that all marginata have but mainly precautionary. Taken by diver in a small hole on the side of a limestone cave filled with various sponge and fish life at 22m. North East of Rottnest Island W.A. April 2024 *White marks are from camera reflection.
