Note | Here we have a SUPER GEM deepwater form of episema. A more BULBOUS shape than those collected from shallower water, this MAJESTIC specimen is is good as they come. A soft grey margin with faint spotting meets a soft brown/gold dorsum with stark black spotting evenly spread across the top of this shell. The overall ovate shape of this shells is highly attractive and along with its SUPREME GEM condition makes for a fantastic addition to anyones collection. GEM condition with no major flaws/issues that i can see. Taken by diver on large grey sponge on the side of a deepwater limestone wall at 35m. 3 Nautical Miles North of Rottnest Island W.A.
