Note | This stunning westralis was trawled from 110 metres of water at the Great Australia Bight in South Australia. The shell displays a large tan blotch covering most of the dorsum and then split by a thick white, speckled mantle line. The edges, siphons and base are a brilliant apricot colour. A lovely shell graded Fine+++ due to a tiny pit in the dorsal nacre as indicated by the green arrows in the photos. |
