Note | Brilliant and solid example of a superbly sculptured Zoila species. Classic blending of shape and fusion of the classic color pattern including a perfect eye-popping porcelain white dorsal window. The shell has super-flared margins complete with tuberculation and displays significant rostration. Taken by Scuba diver in 1988 at 30-40 meters feeding on sponges located on a hard reef off Rottnest Island, Western Australia. The shell is difficult to flaw. Grade: GEM. |
