Note | Beaming specimen with an even distribution of spotting and a deep thick glossy nacre that makes it a high value collectors shell. The spots are tightly arranged in bright whites and focused on the labial lateral wall with a generous dispersion on the dorsum and columellar lateral wall. The shell features a pronounced lateral line and remarkable form and color. There are a few glazed over wobbles on the dorsum and posterior lateral wall on the columellar side. Collected by Scuba diver at 15-18 meters under a coral ledge on a hard reef south of Delray Beach, Florida in 1992. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
