Item | # 0003291716 |
Family | Buccinidae |
Name | Sinistrofulgur perversum - GIANT , (Linnaeus, 1758) |
Size | 280 mm |
Locality | Celestún, Yucatan, Mexico |
Note | A fairly big specimen with a pretty aperture color.
Condition is good, with only the two typical flaws this species usually always has; some smaller chips on the lip and a little wear on some of the spines, but nothing that really takes away from this shell’s beauty.
It is a great display piece, given its big size and its condition.
The shell was live collected by local Mexican divers. Full data is provided in a data tag with the shell. |
