| Note | Lustrous specimen and a heavy weight golden beauty. Great contour and symmetry of the dorsum with strong callousing of the margins. Perfect aperture, teeth and siphonal canals. Strong golden color, fading slightly as one approaches the columellar side, is brilliantly accentuated by the sharp transition of the grey/white margins and extremities. Hookah diver taken on a dropoff wall at 25-30 meters. Acquired from old collection and captured off Mindanao, Philippines. Light growth folds are evident on the lateral walls. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
