| Note | An uncommon giant specimen of this enigmatic West Atlantic species. Overall very well preserved, with a perfect spire, a great fat lip, and a good anterior canal. It only has some wear on two of the knobs in the dorsum, shown in the pics.
The specimen was live taken in a sea grass field, while free diving at 3m deep, 5 miles off the Celestún harbor. Collected recently, in September the 27th of 2023.
This shell is very heavy, as is typical for this species, so please take into consideration that the shipping will be costly. |
