Note | Distinctive specimen with excellent and unique dorsal caramel/brown balanced botching on an eggshell white background with darker tan fringed terminals. The dorsum has a distinct lateral white line and a large white patch on the posterior ramp, columellar side. The base is clean white with a light brown shadow on the columellar side with strong spotting on both lateral walls. The extremities are rostrate. There is a micro-sand grain between the columellar teeth and minor roughness on the posterior siphon edge, labral side. Harvested by trawler off Klama, New South Wales, Australia at 80 fathoms. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. NOTE: Shipping commences the week of March 6. |
