Note | Outstanding example of a large rostrate hirundo subspecies. Strong blotching on the flawless dorsum complements the dual black checkers on the dorsum of both extremities. The shell has perfect siphons and a porcelain white base with a notable size/weight ratio. Light and dispersed spotting can be seen on the lateral walls wrapping over to the margins onto the peripheral base. The thick nacre and robust morphology of this specimen is outstanding. Live taken by Scuba diver in Prony Bay, New Caledonia. Grade; GEM: NOTE: Shipping commences the week of March 6. |
