| Note | BLAAAACK THICK SPINES AND LARGE!!!For Muricids experts and curios serious collectors. There is a huge confusion between Hexaplex ambiguus, nigritus and radix. Some of them from North Mexico , Middle; Where I collect them and Central America. Very variable from : Body forms ( Long, high, wide), with few or many several spines rows. Spines ( long, short, brunched, extra spines, tiny) Patterns and colours. Since I collect them, almost in every population there is a difference. Here you can admire a Hexaplex ambiguus with 8 row spines and similar like Hexaplex nigritus with complete white spire and separate space between one row spines to the other.. Hybrid? For experts only. The most crazy of this Large specimen is the super BLAAACK DEEP COLOR and WHITE BAND all around the body. Very unique!!! Really impressive and heavy. Apex and spire unfortunately with several micro holes (common for the size) and a few mini around , not detracting this beauty and impressive Black Specimen . F++- F+++ Top original operculum.
