| Note | Very rare this size. Rare species from deep water. This shell, as other deep water somalian species, come from trawling activities off the Horn of Africa. That fishery lasted until mid-nineties when, before due to political problems then due to the war (not yet finished), was stopped. The specimens on the market today come from old stocks dating back to those years. Strongly sculptured specimen. Fine++ |
