Note | This outstanding GIANT of this endemic southern Australian species is one of the LARGEST and BEST of the JES collection. Rare quality for such advanced size and age, with PERFECT outer apertural lip and siphonal canal. Most collectors will not appreciate how difficult it is to obtain a specimen of this size and quality. Beautiful pattern of supremely well-formed pale bluish chocolate axial markings. Creamy orange apertural interior. Markedly angulate whorl periphery. Now obtainable only from choice old collections. A truly magnificent giant fulgetrum for the Volutidae specialist, or collector of giant sized shells. Size: 177.7 mm (length). Grading: Gem.
