Family | Volutidae |
Name | Amoria undulata , Lamarck, 1804 |
Size | 80.0 mm |
Locality | Weeroona Bay, Portsea, Victoria |
Note | Presented here is a large specimen of the Southern Australian endemic volutidae species Amoria undulata the ‘wavy volute’. It is very hard to find specimens of collectible quality in Port Phillip Bay. Collected crawling on a sandbank @10-12m at night. This is large, good quality and graded F+++. Very nice specimen of a population absent from even the most advanced Volutidae collections.
