| Note | The product of a major new discovery, made only this year, of an outstanding new population of hesitata from a remote and previously unexplored region, which has yielded the most richly coloured and beautiful examples of the Victorian form I have ever seen. Of the very few specimens I have so far been privileged to handle, all have exhibited truly magnificent colours: indescribable saturated ultra-rich reddish-PINK-ochre, with dense deposition of ultra-dark caramel maculae; striking pure white ventrum, with intense PINK flanking dentition. Hypermature, with marked solidity, and great weight to size ratio. The discoverer of this exciting new population is determined that it must be respected, thus, for ecological and responsible / sustainable collecting reasons, the precise location whence the current specimen comes will remain secret, although I provide here accurate data as to the general region for the collection records of the fortunate successful bidder. The FIRST specimen I have been able to bring to auction of this spectacular new discovery. Obviously lacking in every Umbilia collection in the world, (with the exception of 3 collections in Australia), and definitely for the advanced Umbilia connoisseur. Size: 82.3 mm (length).
