Note | G_PLNB_019 (J3)... 3 specimens of an almost stygophile population showing the morphological variant "minor" (white, small), found in 50cm, under stones, twilight zone of Fontesorbes karst spring, southern bank of the Hers river, Belesta, Ariège. Provided with 2 specimens of a Bythinella from the underside of the same stones. A. fluviatilis can live inside cave-rivers; its nutrient sources (organic film as well as detritus) don't make it light-dependent. Its only serious concern is pollution. |
