| Note | Where both colour and pattern are concerned, this is the BEST sowerbyi of my private collection. Saturated, ultra-dense, ultra-dark pattern, of an aesthetically beautiful design. Markedly elongate and elegant form. From the 'old days' of availability. Now obtainable only from old collections, and almost never like this. A true opportunity for a Volutidae connoisseur to acquire a sowerbyi in a vastly different league to the overwhelming majority of known specimens. Size: 160.1 mm (length). Grading: F++++.
