Note | This superb large specimen comes from a distinct population in which the shells are of markedly elongate form, with greatly reduced peripheral nodes, (as opposed to typically broader examples with well-developed nodes from other South Australian localities). The shells of this population also exhibit beautiful colours and patterns, patently evident in the current example. Exceptional quality for such advanced size and age. The BEST of the best for this uncommon form. Size: 101.7 mm (length). Grading: Gem; w/o.
