Note | A superb specimen, exhibiting exceedingly elongate principal spines in an exemplary state of preservation. Tiny, ultra-delicate, mammillate protoconch intact, usually lost to trawl damage. Ultra-clean, with no encrustation or substrate discoloration. Size: 40.3 mm (longest dimension). Grading: F+++; w/o. Data: Tasman Bay, off Nelson, South Island, New Zealand; upon mud/sand/rubble bottom; 140-220 m; trawled; 1986. |
