AMAZING SPECIMEN!!! Red mouth, Beautiful pattern, intens color!! From ex coll. Blanchard. The shell is completely free of bites and growth lines, the pattern is of perfect symmetry and beauty, the colors are truely spectacular with deep and brilliant aubergine purple, ivory with pink flush and ample golden amber pattern reminding of antique tortoise shell. The shell was all cleaned by hand, so this is a true collectors specimen, no acid has been applied. The shell is in fresh condition and looks like collected today, it was kept in perfect storing conditions. A most desirable and very valuable shell, not found in recent years and out of reach for collectors these days, this is an old collection beauty preserved in fantastic quality.
