NoteStunning shell 28mm long by 21mm wide , super broad beautiful specimen of this amazing species. Apricot mauve colour, very mature shell found fresh dead in around 15 metres. Possibly a victim of a fish attack as there is a nodule missing on the dorsum and a flaw on the base ridging near the posterior terminal. Doesn’t detract from the shell as the pictures show. Better photos available as these ones don’t do it justice. One of those shells you just can’t put down.
