Note | On offer is a 89.7mm specimen of the RARE friendii thalamega. The main characteristics are the full teeth along both sides of the aperture, normally absent on the columellar side in friendii friendii. The other main characteristic is that the widest point of the shell is midship and tapering uniformally to each canal. Graded fine++ with a soft growth line and a couple of soft wedge shaped dentations. Its presentation is excellent. Diver taken in cup sponge in 42m, off Kalbarri, Central West Australia. |
