Note | What can I say, perhaps images say it all. A truly stunning RARE, HUGE specimen of decipiens suprasinum. At 64.7mm and the weight of a brick, RARELY do such specimens become available. Adding to this amazing specimen is its bronze and black coloured patches over the dorsum. Graded GEM- with two tiny silts pimples and a snowflake on the posterior aperture edge, very minor irregularities, if one wishes to be very particular. It also exhibits a much more flared and square base similar to eludens. Diver collected in 12M, off Mangrove Passage, Onslow, N.W. Australia. |
