CYPRAEA CERVUS: A superb true dwarf specimen from the 'old days' of Florida availability. Well-formed pattern. Rich colour. Showing its age a little, but still in excellent condition. The original 1970s label from an unidentified US collection, which accompanies the specimen, states that it was found 'under slab of medal' (sic), possibly a remnant from the construction of the original Seven Mile Bridge, (see data below). Size: 54.9 mm (length). Grading: F++++. Data: Moser Channel, near Seven Mile Bridge, Monroe County, Florida, USA; upon reef substrate, under metal sheet; 3-12 m; dived; 1970s. Provenance: 1.
