What a great site this is! At first I watched as it matured. Now it's a force that equals Ebay to providing great shells to collectors. The selling format is easy to use. If there was anything to make this a user friendlier site is to provide sellers icons for use of Bidpay & Paypal. Most Ebayers are Paypal registered & would enjoy purchasing shells on this site as well. A invoicing program for sellers informing the buyer the total with shipping would add greater usage. But as is this is a great tool for any shell collector! CHRIS:) |

Amici , I will probably soon be assaulted of fraud by a person - I do not name yet - who incriminates me of non reception of a paid shell parcel - translate : of ( me ) not having sent a parcel paid ( by him ) .
- The money = 105 euro - has indeed been transferred to my account .
- Some of the shells where non-sold on previous auction ,this is the reason why I put this message here .
- The parcel contained - as is my custom - bonus shells " . Everybody is - or should be - happy" !
- The parcel was sent on 03/05/2006 by NON REGISTERED , NON INSURED post .
- If i propose not to register , nor insure "small amount" parcels , this is what I ALWAYS do to keep expenses low FOR THE BYER , who is always previously informed of this way of acting and can ask for registering or insuring - at his costs - if he wants .
I feel hurt , having - I think - a good - PVDB - name in the shell collectors world and always trying to make everybody happy . What is more , the limits of post delivery time are not yet that aberrant - posting by me on 03/05 - first reminder by PFB on 11/05 , second by same PFB on 15/05 and now on 17/05 THREAT by UFB .I can understand the byer feels frustrated - a bit early - so am I - BUT I DO NOT ACCEPTE MENACES . NEVER . AND NEVER .People who know me , know that one of my favorite proverbe sounds : "Nemo me impune lacessit" that I got from Amontillado expert E.A.P. I will add "NEVER" .
- I would appreciate support , advice or critics .
PS. as after publication of the Da Vinci Code saga and progeniture whe are now in a coming period of rebusses , mysterious abbreviations and more . Please feel invited to solve mine . PFB / UFB and BBG from PVDB . |

Allessandro my friend am I the only one that is having trouble reading black on dark brown No problem with the light grey/brown.like the comments are on its the darker brown that is difficult???

Very good auction. My compliments. I hope you can add a discussion forum to meet other shellers, help eachother, exchange experiences etc.
Personally I use the auction to get more shells from (sub)arctic/antarctic area's for my collection + europe and Vents, seeps + whalefalls.
For anyone interested: I have a nice beginners collection tropical shells for sale at a bargain price.

For my first auction offered shells I was somewhat frustrated by the extremely low final price of actually rather ( very ) rare albino cepea landsnails . However , when I saw that my old friend Charles was the winner I was happy that this "fine nose" had detected and won my shells . Congratulations Charles and happy NY . |

Very well run auction Mr Webmaster. My only wish is that more of your sellers would use PayPal. It is so easy to use as a buyer. I know their rates have to be paid by the dealer/seller, but most buyers would not object to a 5% surcharge to cover these.This is what most european eBayers charge. It would certainly open up many of your dealers to a wider pool of customers. At present I will only deal with two of your dealers. Keep up the good work. |
