RARE COMBINATION BETWEEN BROWN AND ORANGE COLOR- UNIQUE SPECIAL COLOR!! First time we ever got the one with Orange and Brown color mixed, the background is Orange and the dark brown is on top of and above the orange. Amazing and extraordinary special color form! Exceptional banding spiral ribs all around with wonderful effect between the colors. The shell shows beautiful pattern on the perfect spire with classic dark brown and white spots around with pinkish intact protoconch. Handsome large dark example of a lovely uncommon cone. Intact lip, apex, perfect siphon, original operculum and elegant aperture. F+++-Gem. This species is uncommon in my region. Apparently, populations are very small, with only a few individuals, and they are usually found in enclosed bays in calm, clear, muddy waters. They are rarely found directly in the open sea or on corals. The periostracum is very dense, like hair on the spire, and very thick and slippery around the body whorl. The animal is bright red-orange with striking colors and tiny black dots. Very hard to find with such incredible conditions and so dark brown-orange colors together as this one. Do not miss this unique opportunity to get this uncommon species. Found buried under big stones with brown algae, soft corals and mud about 6m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. September 2026.
