The shell displays the most thick massive fully adult lip and lip wing, really unusual for small pieces, really hard to find this size in any conditions, small pieces are really deep buried and almost impossible to find outside active. This specimen fortunately was found after big wavy storm removing huge stones discovering the shell. rare situations. Intact spines, siphon, spire and apex. The real thing! Extremely rare size , do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. For advancer collectors. F+++-Gem. Open sea Hexaplex princeps are generally 99.9% completely ugly with classic dense erosion, missing spines all around, dense drill holes, no coloration or pattern, and thick calcareous organisms attached all around them almost impossible to remove, that is the common Hexaplex princeps. However, on very rare occasions and in very enclosed bays or lagoon mouths that are open to the sea, there are individuals with great condition, but finding them is always a mystery and really hard. With my years of experience and luck, I know of some places where they sometimes appear in ideal and striking conditions. Here I present this unique and unusual top selection for the species, choose your favorite in this great auction. For any MURICIDAE lovers of aesthetics and advancer collectors. Found attached on, under and between large muddy stones with oysters and mussels about 5m- 8m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. August 2026. Estimated value between 35-45 euros. Good luck and Happy shelling!!! MEXICO PACIFIC |
