MUSEUM PIECE WITH YELLOWISH COLOR FORM WOOOOW!! This is the real ultra rare YELLOW COLOR form with intact excellent conditions. Yellow background color between dark brown elegant spotted pattern and white cream spire, varices and micro pattern, making a great effect for this fantastic authentically jewel. Elongated body shape with the most intact wing-siphons spines all around and varices. Wide extended varices, excellent siphon and perfect protoconch. Thick lip and original rare operculum. Museum conditions- Gem. This species is almost impossible to find active during the day. They seem to be nocturnal and are always attached to stones that are deeply buried, up to 40cm below the sand between buried platforms or stones. This makes them very difficult to find, hence their rarity. Sometimes strong, huge waves at the pacific removes some stones or sand from platforms and with a lot of luck you find one. One of most rare species of all tiny Tripterotyphis in my region. For advancer collectors and lovers of aesthetic unique specimens. Hard to get nowadays in any conditions and rare live specimens. Found attached in deep buried stones. Between 4-5m deep. Garza Blanca, Puerto Vallarta, Bahia de Banderas, Jalisco, Mexico. August 2026. Estimated value between: 35-45 euro.
