Superb pyriform specimen with an excellent large unique and indescribably complicated dorsal blotch. The shell boasts notable rostration and shows a modest size/weight ratio. The specimen features a greyish primary dorsal hue with a finely speckled pattern and no lateral wall or marginal spots. The subviridus displays tan extremity tips. The extremities and base are flawless and margins moderately calloused. The shell was collected at extreme low tide under rocks at Cape Keraudren, Pardoo, Western Australia in 8/1976. The shell displays small short growth folds on the anterior ramp, common for the species. Grade: F+++/GEM.
