NoteA beautiful and exceptionally attractive specimen, displaying a rich brown coloration. The shell is adorned with a spectacular pattern of beige flammules over a delicate brown and pinkish background on the early whorls, a chromatic feature particularly desirable among advanced collectors. Remarkably, the original periostracum is still preserved, an uncommon condition for specimens from this locality and altitude. Both the lip and apex remain in perfect condition, while the aperture displays a subtle and refined brown tone that further enhances the shell’s overall aesthetic appeal. Freshly collected among the leaf litter of the high Andean cloud forest at an altitude of 2,650 meters above sea level in April 2026, this exceptional specimen combines rarity, freshness, and outstanding visual contrast, making it a truly captivating acquisition for any serious international collection or specialized auction.
