NoteScurria plana is a very rare Scurria endemic of northern and central Chile. As it name indicates, this species has an almost flat shell. This specimen was collected dead from shellgrit but it displays a very nice dorsum with the characteristic ray pattern. I have never found this species alive, but sometimes shells are found in shellgrit. A low initial price for an interesting and rare species endemic from Chile.
