NoteHere is a SUPER RARE WHITE BASED example of this much sort after species. A classic soft brown mottled dorsum connects with a SOLID WHITE MARGIN which continues the colouration to the base of the shell! Unfortunately there is obvious flaws which severely detract from the shell but this specimen is still a great example of the ~1 in 50 specimens of this species with a white base. F+ with damage to front and rear canals along with obvious dorsal nacre blister and algae spots on the dorsum. Taken amongst sponges and marine growths on low profile reef at 44m. North of Kalbarri W.A. May 2026
