Zoila jeaniana sherylae Raybaudi 1990 73.9 ELONGATE Mature, symmetrically elongate, balanced and wonderfully pigmented top jeaniana sherylae. The shell displays dorsal chocolate brown/black mottling, with a nude/grey/light brown and eggshell white pigmented primary dorsum The jeaniana shows a thick glossy nacre with perfect extremities. The shell displays moderate rostration, moderate/strong marginal tuberculation and a glazed deep brown/burlywood/black hued base. It shows a strong weight/size ratio (54.7 grams) with an excellent distribution of intense lateral wall spots complementing the striking apricot/nude lateral walls and margin. Collected by Scuba diver 28 meters while dining on a large geodia sponge off Point Quobba, Canarvon, Western Australia in 2/2022. The shell exhibits a soft mild wobble on the mid- anterior ramp, a dull area on the spire and palpable nacre blister on the columellar posterior margin. Grade: F++/F+++.
