NoteUNUSUAL TRULY OVERGLAZED LARGE SPECIMEN WOOOW!! Seldom seen OVERGLAZE Macrocypraea cervinetta with white cloudy effect in the front posterior side and part of the dorsal side, the shell color shows a great brown "Cappuccino" background combined with darker 4 bands between, the white spots for all scattered in the marginal sides and kind of dorsal part. Thick massive lip and spire extremities, really elegant beauty. The ventral side is coming hyper gloss with serrated stripe denticles in the aperture lip and striped dark inner lip pattern. Insignificant imperfection not really harming this delightful beauty. F+++. This nocturnal species are most attached under the stones during the day, the animal black-grey it assimilates like a dangerous organism with very large and thick spines, truly imposing when it is actively walking. Found attached under stones with mud about 2 and 5m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. June 2026.
