Trawled at a depth of 80 meters. It is now nearly impossible to acquire new specimens of this species due to strict modern collecting and environmental restrictions within its deep-water habitat. Already an elusive species, a specimen of this size is extremely rare. At 24.2mm, it nears the maximum reliably recorded size range for the species (approximately 25mm), making it far larger than the few smaller specimens that occasionally surface on the market. Condition: F (Fine). It features vivid, strong coloration and an intact protoconch. The grade reflects typical jagged chipping along the delicate outer lip and minor loss at the anterior canal, as shown in the photos. An exceptional addition for a serious Conidae specialist. From my personal collection.
