The FINEST specimen of the JES Collection the REAL nodulosus – a distinct, uncommon, endemic western Australian species. Beautiful subtle colour: pinkish white ground, decorated with an ultra-fine, intricate, elaborate pattern, formed with rare regularity and clarity. Somewhat available during the 1970s-1980s, but seldom offered now, especially at this level of quality and beauty. Data: Off Horrock’s Beach, Mid-West Region, Western Australia, Australia; upon reef substrate, under slab, at extreme low tide; 1986. Size: 33.2 mm. Grading: Gem.
