An EXCEPTIONAL specimen, exhibiting atypically rich apertural colour, of a very particular deep mauve. Continuous ultra-dark espresso spiral bands. Rare quality. Ultra-clean, with no encrustation, nor erosion. Data: Cap Matautuoa, Fatu-Hiva, Marquesas Islands; upon rock reef substrate, under coral slab, at low tide; 4 m; dived; 1999. Size: 28.3 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
