NoteLas Galletas, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. 12 m depth; collected by local diver, April 2025. d/c. - | - Recently described Canary Islands endemic, molecularly distinct and formerly confused with Conus pulcher. - | - Compact specimen with an inflated shoulder, relatively broad profile, and notably well-preserved spire. The spire exhibits minimal erosion, a feature seldom encountered in reviewed local material, particularly in larger specimens. Exterior relatively glossy and lustrous, without deep growth lines or significant cracks. Two small patches with superficial scratches. One very faint internal crack is present deep inside the aperture and is barely noticeable. Aperture lip relatively thick yet essentially flawless and in very good condition. Interior white, clean, and slightly dulled. Overall, a compact and robust specimen distinguished by its unusually well-preserved spire and attractive shell form.
