NoteApproximately 850 m off Punta de Teno, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Mossy plateau habitat at 12 m depth; collected by a local diver during a daylight dive, August 2024. Large specimen with well-developed shell convexity and strong radial sculpture. Exterior with warm salmon-pink to rose-orange colouration, darker red suffusions, and contrasting yellow-cream radial zones. Radial costae well developed, with pronounced nodose sculpture and fine secondary ornamentation retained throughout. Shell margins, hinge structures, auricles, and marginal crenulations well preserved. Marginal crenulations finely frilled and largely intact, with only minor natural irregularity visible along the ventral margin. Interior surfaces clean and lustrous. Overall a large and attractive specimen, notable for its finely frilled marginal crenulations and good state of preservation.
