NoteA magnificent specimen, recently collected after several days of intensive searching, displaying a uniform mottled pattern and its original periostracum remarkably well preserved. The shell exhibits a spectacular violet aperture, beautifully complemented by an ivory-to-violet outer lip, creating a striking and highly desirable chromatic contrast highly prized among advanced collectors. Exceptionally fresh when discovered among leaf litter in humid montane forest at an altitude of 1,420 m a.s.l., this specimen was collected by local gatherers in April 2026. Such fresh material of this species is encountered only rarely, making this an outstanding opportunity to acquire an exceptionally difficult-to-obtain taxon from a region of extraordinary biodiversity increasingly threatened by ongoing environmental degradation. An important and highly attractive offering, certain to stand out in any serious international malacological collection or specialized auction.
