NoteOne very nice live-collected specimen of Aeneator castillai from a new geographical location in northern Chile. This is a quite rare species, found sometimes together with Aeneator loisae but in much lower numbers. This specimen has a nice, heavy thick shell with a rather orangish aperture and it preserves its original operculum. Note: the shell was collected recently so it is still a bit smelly.
