RARE QUALITY for the species, and collection method. Hypermature: extremely solid and heavy for size. A STANDOUT example for the Umbilia connoisseur. Data: Botany Bay, off Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; upon mud/sand/detritus substrate; 100-140 m; trawled; 1994. Size: 81.8 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
