NoteGorgeous form, patterning, beautiful color and high glossed nacre characterize this elegant specimen. Soft beige/cream and grey spotted primary color on the dorsum, complemented by esthetically and gracefully distributed spotting and maculae. Thick rounded margins moderate display of some tubercles of the anterior margins with a perfect base and extremities. The shell shows moderate rostration and an acceptable size/weight ratio (50.0 grams). Taken by diver off Carnac Island, Western Australia at 15 meters while dining on a sponge in 1998. The specimen exhibits light palpable growth folds on the posterior and anterior ramps. Grade: F++.
