NoteSuper rostrate and distinctive intensely dorsally patterned umbilia from the colder water. The specimen displays interesting, well-balanced spotting/maculae/blotch patterning and a visible dorsal line. The lateral wall compacted spotting is interesting and the shell shows excellent anatomical form. The deep chestnut brown dorsal patterning (blotch) is aesthetically pleasing. The Umbila was trawled off Ulladulla, New South Wales, Australia at 120-150 meters in 5/1967. The specimen has minuscule silt stains on the base along and in between the aperture teeth. Sourced from older collection. Grade: F+++/GEM.
