NoteElongate, moderately inflated specimen with distinctive rich caramel brown margins and pronounced extremities. The dorsum shows an interesting/exceptional array of fused dark brown maculae popping through the dorsal primary hues. The lateral walls show shades of deep dark brown/burnt orange with mixed and impressive spotting. The base exudes various shades of coffee/chestnut brown which accentuates the porcelain white aperture and labral teeth. The striking specimen was harvested by a Scuba diver on a night dive at 18 meters while nestled in a reef sponge off Scarborough, Western Australia in 2018. The shell displays a palpable wobble on the posterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus.
