NoteHyper-mature, strong dorsum gloss and exceptionally golden brown pigmented specimen. The shell features a remarkable and admirable wide open dorsum with transverse banding. The specimen has stunning colors and pattern. It shows a heavy weight/size ratio with a beautiful heavily nacred tan/beige base pattern (64.6 grams). The specimen displays perfect base and thick margins, The mottled dorsal lateral wall maculae pattern and radiating dorsal hues are alluring. Trawled at 80-120 meters by an Australian trawler in the Great Australian Bight, South Australia in 2/2013. The shell exhibits negligible blemishes and a fully nacred chip repair of the collumelar posterior extremity tip and another small repaired nick of the columellar tip. EX: Merv Cooper. Grade: F+++.
