Spectacular dense pattern of the highest aesthetic merit, formed with rare regularity and clarity. Beautiful rich earth tones. Data: Off northern Australia, Australia; upon sand substrate; 100-300 m; trawled; 1970s. Size: 75.2 mm. Grading: Fine+++ (minor smoothing to apertural lip, undertaken as a matter of course in 1970s Taiwan). Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
