NoteOn our recent trip to the Great Australian Bight we found this fresh dead roadnightae laying on silty sand in 265 metres of water southeast of Israelite Bay during January 2026. Very heavy mature shell with very thick intact lip. As can be seen in the photos the shell has some dorsal and aperture discoloration.
