NoteWe have just returned from our first exploration trip into the Great Australian Bight. We collected this cute crabbed guntheri from a sponge garden in 85 metres of water south southeast of Israelite Bay close to the edge of the continental shelf. It is a dead collected specimen with a thin rough lip. The shell has nice colour and displays nicely in dorsal aspect. It is free from any growth defect.
