NoteAn exceptionally rare and highly intriguing specimen, potentially representing an undescribed species or a taxon not yet reported for Colombia. Morphologically comparable to Rectartemon depressus (Heynemann, 1868), a species recorded from Brazil. Collected among leaf litter in the Andean humid forest at an elevation of 1,920 m a.s.l. in September 2024. A remarkable and seldom-offered opportunity for advanced collectors and specialists.
